You have probably had an e-mail from a "Russian woman" already.
Probably it started with something like "My name is Svetlana,
my friend suggested I use the internet to meet a nice man, we
use the internet cafe. There are no men in Russia, I believe in
destiny, I live in Yoshkar Ola (or Lugansk or insert city of
your choice), I want to meet my second half.............."
Sound familiar? Sexy photographs came with that e-mail I
guess? I bet she was a hot, slim and young Russian woman? Maybe
a Ukrainian woman?
Want the bad news? That was most likely a man who
wrote that e-mail. Those hot pictures are his girlfriend,
sister, neighbour or maybe even a Russian model or a singer.
Don't feel bad. You are not the first, you wont be the last.
These guys are clever, they know what they are doing. They are
career criminals. Those e-mails are all written as a series by
Russian psychologists to dupe you into thinking you are really
corresponding with a hot Russian girl, they know what mental
buttons to press to get you to react the way they want you too.
Are you doubting me already? Are you
thinking, "Yeah well, I am sure that stuff happens to some
guys, but the woman I am writing to is for real, I am sure
of it."
OK, I am not going to convince you in a few
lines. Do your letters contain any of the content below?
She
doesn't have a telephone at the moment. Maybe she cannot
afford a cell phone, maybe it is broken, being repaired
or got stolen. She doesn't have a land line. She cannot
take calls at work - its not allowed. But maybe she can
"get to a phone" and call you? Sound familiar?
You
are lucky! She already has a visa to the USA, she is
coming soon and just wants to hook up with you while she
is there. Perhaps she even e-mailed you a copy of her
visa? You have seen it, so its real right? Wrong!
You
know those photos she sent you are real because she was
at someone's birthday party last week, and they had a
camera, and they were talking about you. One of her
friends took a photo of her holding a card up with your
name on. She sent it you - nice huh?
She
doesn't have a computer at home. She must use an
internet cafe. It costs her a few dollars an hour
though, and she doesn't earn much - or maybe is a
student - and she can not afford to keep writing you
unless you send her a few dollars for the internet cafe
bill. Did you send her a few dollars already? Was it
Western Union or Moneygram?
Are
you a bit confused because she has only sent you three
or four e-mails and now she knows you are her man! You
will be together soon. Maybe you asked her a question
that she overlooked to reply. Perhaps its just her
English language is not so hot and she didn't notice
your question?
If the answer
to any of the above questions is "yes" you have met a Russian
dating scammer. We call him Fat Yuri or Hairy Boris.
Hundreds of guys every month fall for this stuff. What basically
happens is that at some stage your e-mail woman will need some
money for something. It could be the internet cafe, a sick
mother, last minute emergencies before her (fake) flight to the US
boards, visa requirements of $X per day that she cannot show
them, etc. The reasons can be many and varied and quite
believable. The request will be the same - MONEY. The method
will be the same always: Western Union or Moneygram.
You may not have had the money request yet, but it is coming for
sure. Your Tatiana (or Olga, Anastasia, Elena or other
Russian girls name of your choice) will be building up to
the "emergency". It will always be "urgent" and very critical,
and she will have nobody else to turn to, etc. Pulling your
heart strings is part of their job description.
OK, you are
right. I recognize some of this stuff. How come you guys know so
much about it?
Yes, you are right! We should tell you who we are and what we
know about this stuff before we go any further.
My name is Stuart Smith. I am an English guy
married to a beautiful Russian woman. We live between
England and the former Soviet Union. I have been visiting

Every man wants a beautiful wife! Its not a crime (like the
politically correctfeminists will have you believe), to
want a slim, good wife. Why should you settle for a fat, lazy,
chain-smoking American or Western European woman, when you can

times over in the divorce courts. Marrying an insincere

Some guys just got lucky, they hit a home run
